The
community would like to install a permanent fence around the
garden area of an elementary school to keep livestock out. The
latter roam freely in the village and often come into the garden to
eat the crops which are being
raised for food for the students at the school.
The community will provide at no cost to the school the labor for
building the fence and some of the materials such as a wooden gate,
and sand and gravel for cement. The grant will pay for chain link
fencing, steel posts, wire bindings, and cement.
