Greetings from the West Cascade Peace Corps Association!
In this edition of our electronic newsletter, you'll find:
December 9: Board Meeting at the home of Shannon Micheel and Michael Kresko from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Support WCPCA at the Saturday Market's Holiday Market!
We are hosting a booth on Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and
13th at Saturday Market's Holiday Market located at the Lane County
Fairgrounds. Beautiful calendars and cool t-shirts, designed by our
very own James Cloutier, will be available for purchase. They can
make excellent gifts for yourself or others. We'll also be
promoting the US Peace Corps and the WCPCA.
Please stop by and visit our booth in the non-profit section of the
Market. We hope to see and your friends there!
The January potluck will be on Friday, January 22nd, at the home
of Nancy and Walt Meyer, WCPCA members and returned volunteers from
PC Mexico, 2006-08. The Meyers will host us and also present a slide
show to describe their service in Mexico where Nancy worked as a
teacher and Walt as an engineer.
We'll gather at 6:00 pm at the Meyers' home, 3987 Brae Burn Dr., in
south Eugene off of Willamette. Please bring a dish to share. Plates
and utensils will be provided.
Join us to celebrate the new year and learn about the Meyers' work
in a new country of Peace Corps service!
