DESCRIPTION:For many years WCPCA volunteers have joined the cleanup crew for this major fundraising activity. We're asking now for volunteers to help on Tuesday, April 10th, 8:30 - 10:00 pm at the Hult Center. \n \nVolunteers first join the festivities by sampling the tasty wares of sixty or more local restaurants. This prepares you for the evening's task of helping to clean up after the restaurants have left. Work starts shortly after 9pm and continues for about an hour or so. WCPCA member, Amy Small, Jamaica, 2008-10, will be the speaker, discussing the challenges and successes of her assignment.\n \nAmy worked on environmental education with schools, 4-H clubs, youth camps, and farmers' groups. Their activities included tree plantings and beach cleanups. She collaborated with the Jamaican Caves Organization to study local caves and along the way enjoyed the pleasures of rappelling. Join us to learn of Amy's work and adventures.\n \nPlease bring a dish to share.
